I began learning Bharatanatyam under the instruction of my Guru Divya Narayanan, in 2008, and continue to dance today. In the summer of 2015, I completed my arangetram, a three-hour solo graduation performance that marked my transition to a professional dancer – here are the highlights and the full performance.

I have performed all around Utah, at events such as the Mormon Tabernacle Interfaith Celebration, Parliament of World Religions, International Documentary Film Festival, and the Diwali celebration at the Salt Lake City Library.

I have enjoyed dancing ever since I was young, and view dance as a medium to express myself, feel comfortable in my own body, and sharpen my ability to focus.

Dance has taught me to see the beauty in others as well as in myself. My love of dance has inspired me to share my passion with others, and I currently run a dance school with over twenty students. For more information, click here.
